How should I store my products? Products must be stored in a cool and dry place. Any temperatures above average room temperature may result in melting, change in consistency, and spoil faster. In addition, as the products to not contain chemical preservatives any contact with moisture may result in growth of unwanted organisms. Never store products in the shower and when collecting product for use always have dry clean hands or use a clean spatula / spoon.

 

How long do the products last?  Products are handcrafted in small batches and do not contain any chemical preservatives or chemicals, as such products will have a shorter shelf life. Discard at recommended shelf life time or if signs of spoilage are present

Are products safe for use during pregnancy? The primary concern around how safe they may be during pregnancy is associated with the use of certain essential oils and herbs. Ones which are known to either mimic estrogen, potentially trigger uterine contractions, or are just not well studied in association with pregnancy. Some of these ingredients are in  a few of the products but are present at safe concentrations and as such are safe to use during pregnancy. To be 'extra' precautious, products containing these ingredients could be avoided: Renew Nourishing Oil, Floral Radiance Facial Steam, and the Lavender Eucalyptus Herbal Bath Salts. Also, keep in mind that during pregnancy hormones are in flux and have a significant impact on the skin, products that your skin previously have done very well with may not be the case at present and new sensitivities and conditions may arise.
